Bristol University graduate and Consultant Orthodontist at Kings College Hospital with experience in treating patients who require multi-disciplinary care, postgraduate teaching, training of orthodontic trainees and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rachel began her career in dental practice and progressed to senior house officer roles in oral and maxillo facial surgery and restorative dentistry. During this time she gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She went onto complete three years of specialist orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital where she was awarded a distinction in Masters of Clinical Dentistry with UCL.
Winner of the Hawley Russel research prize and Houston post graduate research scholar from the British Orthodontic Society for patient centred research. Rachel was awarded the Intercollegiate Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012.
Rachel went on to complete three further years of consultant training at Kings College and St. George’s Hospitals. She was awarded her Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014 and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, Consultant Orthodontic Group. In the hospital she provides treatment for patients with ectopic teeth, missing teeth, dental abnormalities and orthodontic cases requiring jaw surgery.
In her spare time she enjoys dancing, pilates, yoga and spending time with her daughter and fiancé.
